Our
Mission

We trust our readers to be responsible with what they read

We believe in a diversity of philosophical thought. There is no current civil society without the radical and vociferous argumentation of our forefathers. As such, we believe in the platforming of all philosophies and trust our customers to make mature and rational interpretations of any content they purchase – and to consider the social context in which the material was written. Ultimately, we see ourselves not as the gatekeepers of what you ought be allowed to read. Nor should any other interest group, nor nation, nor supranational power.

OLD KNOWLEDGE

There is great importance in maintaining knowledge of how and why we have reached our current understandings.

Paramount to the continued advancement of society is the maintenance of a touchstone with fundamentals. Too often do we become lost in the advanced applications of fundamentals. So much so that when troubleshooting, a poor understanding of foundational theory secondary to the thoughts and experiments of great minds of years past leaves us crippled to fix many problems of modernity. Similarly, this sometimes haphazard attachment to fundamentals leaves us hamstrung when trying to innovate. Acknowledging this – becoming bogged-down in endless fundamentals is equally restrictive. The availability of the fundamentals is nevertheless essential to ensure civil progression is not inhibited.
